1. Acceptance and scope
By using the CopyIns website or Chrome extension, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Eligibility
You must be legally able to accept these Terms and meet the age requirements that apply where you live. A parent or guardian must authorize use when local law requires it.
3. Website service
The website accepts supported public Instagram links and may return eligible source media options. It does not promise that every public link, format, quality, or item will be available.
4. Extension service
The Chrome extension may save one eligible image or direct MP4 already loaded and visible on the current Instagram page. It is a separate current-page workflow and does not use the website parser for its normal download path.
5. Permitted use
Use CopyIns only for media you created or own, media you have permission to save, or media whose license and applicable law allow your intended use.
6. Prohibited conduct
Do not infringe copyright or privacy, impersonate others, distribute malware, overload or reverse engineer the service, evade limits, automate account-wide collection, or use CopyIns in violation of law or platform rules.
7. Public and authorized access boundary
The website is limited to anonymous public-link access. The extension is limited to media already loaded and visible under access you lawfully have. Visibility does not itself grant copyright or reuse permission.
8. No access-control bypass
Do not use or attempt to modify CopyIns to bypass login, private-account approval, Close Friends, subscriptions, paywalls, region controls, encryption, DRM, HLS/DASH/MSE protections, or other technical restrictions.
9. User responsibility
You are responsible for the links you submit and for every download, storage, edit, publication, transfer, and reuse decision. CopyIns does not grant ownership, a license, or permission from a creator or platform.
10. Copyright, creator rights, and removal requests
Respect copyright, privacy, publicity, and creator attribution. A rights holder may send a sufficiently detailed notice to [email protected] identifying the work, affected CopyIns page or behavior, contact details, and a good-faith statement of authority. CopyIns does not host a user media library, but may investigate and restrict service behavior where appropriate.
11. Independent service
CopyIns is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Instagram or Meta. Instagram and Meta names and marks belong to their respective owners and identify compatibility only.
12. Extension permissions, store rules, and updates
Extension use is also subject to Chrome Web Store and browser rules. The browser may update the extension automatically. Material permission or data-use changes must be disclosed before release.
13. Third-party services and links
Instagram, its CDN, Cloudflare, Google Analytics when configured, Chrome Web Store, and external sites operate under their own terms. CopyIns is not responsible for third-party availability, content, or policies.
14. Service changes and availability
CopyIns may add, change, limit, suspend, or discontinue functionality to respond to security, legal, infrastructure, browser, store, or Instagram changes.
15. No permanent availability or fixed quality
CopyIns does not guarantee permanent operation, a specific resolution, a fixed format, uninterrupted access, unlimited volume, or a particular success rate.
16. Disclaimer
To the extent permitted by law, CopyIns is provided as available and without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, or uninterrupted operation. Mandatory rights that cannot be excluded remain unaffected.
17. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss, lost data, lost profits, third-party claims, or misuse of downloaded media. Liability that cannot lawfully be limited remains unaffected.
18. Indemnity
Where permitted by law, you agree to defend and indemnify the operator against claims arising from your unlawful use, rights infringement, breach of these Terms, or redistribution of media.
19. Termination
You may stop using CopyIns at any time. Access may be blocked or terminated for abuse, security risk, legal requirements, or material breach. Provisions that by nature should survive will remain effective.
20. Governing law and disputes
Mandatory consumer law and the law that applies to the verified operator and user relationship govern these Terms. The repository does not contain a verified operator jurisdiction, so CopyIns does not invent a country, state, or exclusive court here. The operator must add the real governing law and forum before relying on a location-specific clause.
21. Terms updates
Revised Terms will be posted with a new date. Continued use after an effective update constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
