Is CopyIns free to use?

Yes. The public-link website is currently free to use and does not require a CopyIns or Instagram account.

Which Instagram links does CopyIns support?

The website accepts supported public Post, Reel, Carousel, and some legacy IGTV URLs when Instagram exposes an eligible video or image. Story, Highlight, Profile, private, and login-only URLs are not website features.

Can I download Instagram Reels without a watermark?

CopyIns does not add its own watermark. It does not remove creator names, captions, stickers, logos, or overlays already embedded in the source media.

Does CopyIns remove existing creator watermarks?

No. CopyIns preserves the available source file and does not remove or edit marks already embedded in it.

Can CopyIns download private Instagram content?

The website cannot. It uses anonymous public-link requests and does not accept Instagram credentials, cookies, access tokens, or private browsing state.

Why can a public Instagram link still fail?

Visibility may have changed, Instagram may challenge anonymous requests, the page may require login, or no supported direct media file may be exposed at that moment.

What is the difference between the website and the Chrome extension?
